ABOUT US
Welcome to Old Town Christian Fellowship
OTCF is a Bible centered, Bible teaching church located in Old Town, ME open to all who desire a personal relationship with God. Whether you are a skeptic, a seeker, or a mature believer, we welcome you! As God has revealed Himself to us through His Word, our worship services are centered on the teaching of the Bible. God’s Word is given our supreme focus as it is taught from Genesis to Revelation, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book. If you have not yet acknowledged God as Creator and recognized your need for a Savior, it is our prayer that you will enter into a relationship with the only Living God. If you do know Him, it is our hope that our services will encourage you as you are discipled in the Word, and you are refreshed by a church that desires to love God and love people.
What to expect at our church services.
Our typical church service begins with a short time of contemporary worship with the entire family. This typically lasts about a half an hour. Our Bible Study then begins. Our Sunday service is generally going through the New Testament, while our midweek study is in the Old. Sunday services typically last an hour and a half and our midweek service is about an hour. Our Cafe is open 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the service for fellowship.
Our Wednesday evening church service begins with a time of worship in song, followed by a study in God’s Word. It is a great time to get plugged in and build real relationships with each other. We also spend some time in corporate prayer and regularly share in the Lord’s Supper, Holy Communion. “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42 NKJV
Our service times are…
Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
What to wear?
Come comfortable!
You can dress up if you want, but come in what makes you comfortable. Our services are pretty laid back and casual. We meet in the old VFW building in Old Town. Most folks wear jeans, shorts, T-shirts to flannels and flip flops to muck boots depending on the season. We do ask that you remember that it is a church, so modesty is appreciated. We want you to be comfortable as you come to worship with us, while not drawing attention to yourself or distracting others. If it’s your first time, let one of our greeters know, so they can show you around. See you this week!
