We have made it to week 3! The topic we are praying about this week is his finances and how he handles his money. Unfortunately, disagreements over money is one of the main reasons couples divorce. This is an important topic to go to the Lord with. As you pray for your husband pray also for yourself and ask God to give you unity in this area of your lives.

This week we are reading chapter two and praying for our husband's work. Remember to connect with your prayer partner so you can know how to pray specifically for her husband's job.
"Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands." Psalm 90:17 For the next week we will continue praying for our prayer partners. I would encourage you to focus on confessing the ways you have held on to bitterness, anger and resentment towards your husband. (page 31) If you don't know if you have been doing this then ask God to show you. The sample prayers she puts at the end of each chapter are just that, a sample, you are not expected to pray those word for word, but you can use them as an outline for your own prayer time.
Ladies, know that I am praying for you as you begin this adventure! Happy New Years Ladies! I am excited that you have decided to join me in this challenge to hold our husbands and marriages in prayer before the throne of God. For the first two weeks of this year we will be praying for each other. If you have chosen a prayer partner, then share your personal prayer requests with them. If you are reading the book, read chapter one "Praying for His Wife". Please commit to praying for each other daily over the next couple of weeks. Remember to not only share your concerns and needs but also share answers to prayers as they come. This is meant to not only strengthen our marriages but to encourage and comfort each other. Ok Ladies.....start praying!
